  Linda Severt

LINDA SEVERT began her musical career as a baby when she discovered she could thump out rhythms with her spoon on a bowl. She took up guitar in the fourth grade, and has been playing ever since. Linda is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, and she has toured throughout the US and Canada as a solo artist, and also performed and toured for 4 1/2 years with the Laura Love Band. She plays and sings in a variety of styles, including contemporary folk, jazz, blues, and even classical. In addition to her skills as a musician, Linda is also a juggler and clown, and works for the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Unit at Children's Hospital. She is experienced and sensitive in performing for a hospital environment, and has many skills that she can pull out for a variety of situations. Linda will be performing on guitar, concertina, dulcimer, tongue drum, and juggling balls!
